1. JOIN YOUR AP CLASS

• Sign into your AP Account. Click on the Join a Course or Exam button. Click here if you are having trouble signing in to your AP Account.
• Your AP teacher will give you the Join Code for your class. Each AP class has its own unique Join Code.
• Students should join their AP class within the first two weeks of school. It is best to register for your AP Exam at that time.
• If you do not have an account go to myap.collegeboard.org and click the Sign up link.

2. REGISTER FOR YOUR AP EXAM

• Sign in to myap.collegeboard.org and click on Register for Exam for each class you are enrolled in.
• Click on the appropriate button to indicate whether or not you will be taking the AP Exam.
• *Please Note: When students join their AP class, their exam status defaults to "undecided". If students did not register for the AP exam when they joined their class, they must go in and manually update their exam registration to Y or N by the above deadline. Only staff can make changes to exam registration after the registration deadline noted above. Changes made after November 15th for first-semester/year-long classes and March 15th for second-semester classes may incur a  $40.00 cancellation fee.

3. UTILIZE AP CLASSROOM & RESOURCES

• Once students have joined their AP class they will have access to AP Classroom & resources through the College Board website. Sign into your AP account at myap.collegeboard.org and click on the AP Classroom link.
